CANCELATIONS:

Please note that some properties have their own special cancellation policy. In this case you will find it in the description of the property.

General Cancellation Policies:

– If you cancel your holiday:

Any cancellation or amendment request must be sent to us in writing (by email) and will take effect on the day we receive the request.

You will be liable to pay the cancellation charges shown below.

  • Up to 30 days before the arrival date, free cancellation.
  • 29 days before the arrival date, the full amount of the booking.
  • In case of no show: the full amount of the booking.
    There will be no refunds if the client voluntarily decides to stop using the services included in the holiday before the end of his/her stay

COVID -19:

VERY IMPORTANT: Bookings that have been cancelled due to Covid-19 and were offered a date change or a voucher will not be refunded by any circumstance. The original conditions will be applied to new reservations made with original payment. The payment will not be refunded if the new reservation is cancelled and will receive a new voucher instead.

Bookings confirmed after 20 May 2020 with a check in date in 2020 will be included in this special cancellation policies:

  • Up to 14 days before the arrival date, free cancellation.
  • 13 days before the arrival date, the full amount of the booking.
  • In case of no show: the full amount of the booking.
    There will be no refunds if the client voluntarily decides to stop using the services included in the holiday before the end of his/her stay

In the unlikely event that the unit becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. We will endeavour to offer you alternative accommodation of a similar or higher standard. In case you do not accept any suitable alternative, you will be asked to confirm this in writing and any payments that have been made will be refunded.

 

AGREEMENT:

The booking contract is an agreement among the client and VillasForRentMallorca S.L.
Once confirming a reservation with us you are guaranteeing that you are of legal age and have the authority to accept the booking conditions on behalf of all your party.
The contract is governed by the Spanish Law and by the jurisdiction of the Spanish Courts.

CHECK IN ONLINE:

All hotels and tourist establishments are obligated by the government to forward them information of all guests staying in their accommodations the day of arrival.
To guarantee that we have all the required information in time, all these information must be submitted until one month prior your stay.

 

We will send you the link to proceed with the Check in Online in the confirmation of your booking.

TOURIST TAX:

In 2016 the Balearic Parliament has passed Law 2/2016 on the Taxation of Tourist Accommodation on the Balearic Island. This tax applies to all adults (+16 years) staying in a tourist accommodation located on the Balearic Islands and is charged at check in.
For all the information regarding the amount of the tourist tax for your stay per night, please click on the link below and have a look at the “Holiday rentals (fincas, apartments, houses) and other tourist establishments”. Longterm holiday makers will have a 50 % discount on the tax starting from the ninth day of their stay at the same accommodation.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT:

Some of our properties are subject to a damages or losses of inventory deposit. This is taken on a credit card at check-in and returned after the check-out once we verify that the property and inventory are in the same state as upon your arrival.
We reserve the right to claim for any serious damage or breakages not reported and found after your departure.

NUMBER OF GUESTS AND OBLIGATIONS:

Occupation should be limited to the maximum number of guests agreed and paid.
We reserve the right to cancel bookings or request a higher damage deposit for groups minor the age of 30, if not consulted prior the booking.
You must accept responsibility for the proper conduct of yourself and any member of your party whilst at the property. In cases of serious misconduct, we reserve the right to end your holiday with us. If we do so, we have no liability or responsibility to you.

PETS:

Pets are not allowed in the properties managed by us. In some properties we can make an exception, please enquire. In either case they are not allowed on the beds and furniture. At your departure should not be any evidence pets have been at the property.

LIABILITY:

Properties information and descriptions have been done by our team that previously visited the villas. For any impact on the properties by force majeure (war, earthquakes, construction noise, water or power cut, storms/bad weather, …) VillasForRentMallorca accepts no responsibility. The use of the rental property including all associated outdoor facilities is made solely at the tenant’s risk. VillasForRentMallorca and the property owner will accept no liability in the case of accidents.

The tenant is the only responsible for his belongings brought into the property. VillasForRentMallorca will not accept any responsibility for burglaries.

COMPLAINTS:

In the unlikely case that you have trouble, facility or services are not in a correct state at the property please inform us immediately. We will endeavour to fix it as soon as possible.
VillasForRentMallorca will not accept any complaints or any responsibility made after departure. Alternatively you can email us to make suggestions or comment your stay.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We strongly advise you to take care of your own travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage and other losses for the duration of your stay, as VillasForRentMallorca doesn’t take any responsibilities.
