Cala Llonga beach

Cala Llonga, Ibiza. A spacious, sandy beach borders the small but popular resort.

Location: 10 minutes drive from either Santa Eulalia or Ibiza Town
Facilities: Loungers, parasols, showers, public toilets (also for disabled), bars, restaurants, shops, playground, lifeguards, access for the disabled (also into the water under supervision of the lifeguards with amphibious wheelchair and special crutches)

Size: 180 metres long, 100 metres wide
Getting there: Reached by car, bicycle, or bus from Santa Eulalia, 7 km away. Also by ferry from Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town in the summer months. Official parking places close to the beach and free parking in neighbouring streets.

The popular mini resort Cala Llonga is reached via winding roads with spectacular views. Wide and sandy, its beach borders the immensely picturesque bay with tall, pine-clad hills on either side that ensure this resort is sheltered and form a powerful suntrap, making it popular with those looking for maximum bronzing factor!

Shallow waters go quite a way out making it safe for children, plus there’s a playground area right in the sand. Though many take advantage of the umbrellas and sun-loungers on offer, the large sandy area means there is still plenty of room to chuck a towel down on the sand.

Snack bars, shops and restaurants are at either end of the beach and dotted along the road. All are within easy reach, making sure you want for nothing! In summer there is also a small funfair with bumper cars, trampolines and small electric cars for children.

Beach bars and restaurants

The beach itself is lined with busy little cafes and restaurants with a good variety of cuisine at very moderate prices. In the surrounding streets you’ll also find some great little restaurants.

A great option, just a 20-minute stroll from the beach is La Casita, a finca restaurant with beautiful views featuring Austrian cuisine and innovative specialities. Visit also Amante Ibiza perched in a spectacular position high on a cliff in the neighbouring small bay of Sol d’en Serra or Hoyo 19 on the nearby golf range of Ibiza with sweeping views of the rolling green course.
