Cala Pada beach

Es Caná, Ibiza. A quiet, broad sandy beach with sparkling clear waters.

Location: Between Santa Eulalia and Es Caná
Facilities: Loungers, parasols, public toilets, showers, restaurants and bars, souvenir shop & beach boutique
Activities: Pedalos, electric boats, banana boat, kayaks, catamaran sailing, diving centre
Size: 200 metres long, 10 metres wide
Getting there: Reached by car, bus or bicycle from Santa Eulalia or Es Caná, each only 2 kms away. Parking can be a squeeze in high season. Alternatively stroll along the coast from either of these two resorts. There are also small ferries which connect to Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga, Ibiza town and even Formentera.

Cala Pada offers a broad, sandy beach with a slowly shelving sea bed and magically transparent waters. Fragrant pines surround the sand bar above craggy red rocks. There is a long wooden boardwalk stretching from the shore right into the sea.

Often frequented by guests of the nearby Cala Pada resort, its also a great option to escape to when the lunchtime rush fills neighbouring Santa Eulalia.

The offshore reefs protect the bay from the sea, making it popular with the island’s windsurfers when the south wind blows.

BEACH BARS AND RESTAURANTS:

Three nice restaurants line the back of the beach with large terraces where you can sit in the shade. There is also a small souvenir shop and fashion boutique.
